Pat Broghamer was well-acquainted, for since 1993, with Charleston South Carolina Real Estate and the Lowcountry of Charleston, South Carolina and the surrounding islands long before she decided to call it her home in 2007.

Before moving to the "Holy City", in 2007, Pat Broghamer sold real estate since 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio and northern Kentucky, "the north of the south". She and her family vacationed in Charleston, South Carolina every year and called it their “second home”. Pat’s daughter, Amy, was married in Charleston in June of 2006. Pat’s husband Lou and Kevin shared quality time as Civil War Re-enactors and enjoy visiting the many Historic sites and Battlefields in Charleston and in the Washington, DC areas.

 “We loved the gentle manner of the Charlestonians, historic preservation and enjoy the cultural activities that Charleston, South Carolina has to offer. Spoleto is an international arts event, for 2 weeks. Every June the artistic creativity of world class artist descend on the "Holy City" to display and perform for an international audience. There are wonderful plays to be enjoyed, the symphony and other forms of art are very appealing too. In Charleston, SC people always have a smile on their face; they greet you on the street and on the beach. There is a wonderful energizing mix of ages living and playing, in this vibrant city of the Deep South. I’m so glad we now call Charleston, SC “our home.”

Married to her husband Lou in 1972 she and Lou now reside in this beautiful city surrounded by the blue skies, church steeples, warm sunshine, beautiful beaches and tranquil waters of the ocean and the many creeks and rivers. Lou is a commercial lender since 1978. Pat and Lou have two grown children, one grandson son and 2 Shih Tzu’s; Amy, their daughter, is married to Steve Habegger. They reside in a beautiful old American Four Square style home, in Hyde Park. Amy and Steve and their first child Dexter, enjoy their community of Hyde Park in Cincinnati, OH.  Pat and Lou’s first grandson, Dexter, was born in January 2011. Amy Broghamer & Steve also own their own successful Real Estate Business/Team called AmyBsells.com. (www.amybsells.com). Kevin, is Pat and Lou’s son, and is married to Kristi Broghamer. They live in their historically preserved, Queen Ann style, home in Newport, KY. Kevin and Kristi own their own consulting company, Broghamer Consulting, and work as political compliance consultants for federal elections held throughout the USA.  Both Amy & Kevin are proud Alumni of the University of Kentucky.
